Living My Element With Sylwia - Day 4

Day 4.. Wow!  Let me share a little secret... Our bodies talk to us.  The whole day, the only thing that kept on popping in my head was greens.  Leafy greens, bulky greens, liquid greens.. If it was green, it came up.  Interestingly, my skin is breaking out a bit.  I have tiny little bumps on my cheeks (hardly visible, but I can feel them), and some bigger break outs on my chin and neck area.  I am not sure whether it is my body expelling some toxins or stress related acne.

Not so many liquids today.  I felt tired and sleepy all day.  Maybe, TMI, but it might be a sign my friend is arriving.

Emotionally, it's been a roller coaster day.  Ups and downs.  I'm a bit nostalgic because my beautiful, sweet cousin, Sweet Caroline, got married today beneath the sunset on an exotic beach in Brazil.  I wish I could have been there.  On the other hand, it's my first mother's day.  My heart is so full of gratitude for the most amazing human being I have ever met and I feel like the luckiest mom in the Universe.  My mom is not here to celebrate mother's day with us.  She's in Brazil at the wedding representing the Araujo clan.  A little bittersweet from every perspective.  Tomorrow is also my brother's birthday.  He arrived from a work-related trip today and will be spending some time with us here at the house.  Happy about that.

Today, I had a sweet craving.  I gave in.  I didn't splurge on the binging, only had enough to satisfy my craving and stopped.  I do feel that I need to drink some more.  For the first time since I started my mindful behavior, I feel thirsty.  Very thirsty.  Note to self:  DRINK MORE WATER!

It's Saturday night, and I'm not a partier, especially with a 8 1/2 month old at home.  So, I'll probably call it a night very soon so that I can wake up and be ready for her tomorrow morning.

To all the readers, thanks for reading my ramblings as I embark on this really special adventure to get to know my body better.  I ramble on at times, but it helps me clear and quiet brain noise.  Thank you for clicking and reading anyway.  This blog would mean nothing without you, the readers.

Happy Mother's Day to all the MOTHERS out there.  xoxo
