Today I woke up with pain. I had a trigger point injection yesterday on my left shoulder blade area, and apparently it takes a little while for the soreness to go away. I thought I'd wake up ready for the best work out of my life - didn't happen.
Food wise, I did pretty good. I ate my Fiber One cereal in the morning with some almond milk (unsweetened). Oh, actually, I drank lime juice first thing in the morning to boost up my vitamin c, and an hour after i drank the juice of one lime, i ate my cereal. For lunch I had brown rice, kidney beans, ground beef ( a little) and squash.. yum! Love squash. I strayed away from my goal to keep away from sodas and drank a Sprite Zero. In the afternoon I had a pear. And, now for dinner I just had some rice and beans. I didn't drink as much water as I was supposed to, and noticed that the meat made me sluggish. I'm starting to see a connection with my blood type and the foods that agree with me.
I'm also starting to see a connection that the more open and bold I am about what I feel and want to express, the less I want to run to food, especially my sweet cravings. Sylwia suggested some solutions to my sweet cravings, however I still haven't had the time to go searching for them at WholeFoods or the Oriental Markets near my house. As soon as I get my hands on one of them, I'll share the experience.
Day 2 was a bit harder than day 1, I admit. My portions were a bit generous. A friend did tell me she thought I looked slimmer. Even though, that is not the only reason why I wanted to learn how to eat better, looking good and feeling good are always pluses!
There is not much rambling today. Overall, I felt okay, not so energetic. I'm still digging to find the inspiration to exercise as much as I'd like to.
