The Universal Laws (Interpreted by Me)
I began reading a book called The Light Shall Set You Free. It's a textbook on good living. The kind of teachings that teachers should be teaching in class rooms to our children in order to instill values and foundations that will forever be unbreakable. The book is about the Universal Laws. The great thing about it is that these laws have been in effect since before the Earth was formed, before our solar system, or even our galaxy. These are laws that are not only spiritual in nature, but have been proven scientifically by master minds around the world. They present themselves to us everyday in our daily lives, and until we become familiarized with them, and learn them our progress will be stalled. Here they are, in my own words. I hope that they are of as much good use to you as they have been to me.
To start, let's say that ENERGY is the foundation for all laws. We are all energy. We breathe it, emit it and inhale it. More and more the use of the word is transcending cultures and making itself known, we are energy. We can be positive or negative. Quantum physics proves it. It's not merely an eastern concept anymore.
First Universal Law: The Law of Divine Oneness
We are all connected. We are co-creators of our own lives, and the polarity of energy we choose depend on us to create a bright or dark future.
Second Universal Law: Law of Vibration
Everything is in constant motion, whether we see it or not, but if we choose that vibration to reach higher possibilities, we must train our thoughts to be of love, peace and calm. We must center ourselves to vibrate higher energies.
Third Universal Law: Law of Action
This is the law where we defy the fear buried within us. It requires a change in our behaviours and an acceptance that we need that change in order to achieve higher altitudes.
Fourth Universal Law: Law of Correspondence
This law applies to when we connect mind, body and spirit and finally feel the Oneness among all three. It is all connected and we recognize how one affects the others.
Fifth Universal Law: Law of Cause and Effect
We are responsible for creating our own reality and subsequently its effects, hence the rise of karma. The law of Cause and Effect allows us to develop a sense of purpose, discipline and peace at all times.
Sixth Universal Law: Law of Compensation
First and foremost, we must love ourselves first before loving anybody else. The law of compensation rewards us with a tenfold return when the gifts we give are given from the heart.
Seventh Universal Law: Law of Attraction (better known nowadays as "The Secret")
"What is hidden within will dictate what will appear on the outside."-El Morya
Our thoughts and emotions determine at which level our energies vibrate, we attract similar vibrations to ourselves.
Eighth Universal Law: Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy
"Good thoughts will produce good actions and bad thoughts will produce bad actions. Hatred does not cease by hatred at any time; hatred ceases by love." - Buddha
No matter where or how we find ourselves, we have the free will to change our current situation and better ourselves by increasing our level of vibration. Changing our thought and emotional patterns.
Ninth Universal Law: Law of Relativity (my personal favorite)
"God allows us to experience the low points of life in order to teach us lessons we could not learn in any other way." -C.S. Lewis
Whatever happens to us is meant for us only. We need not to compare our problems or fortunes with anyone. It is all relative how we look at it. Sometimes, our misfortunes are blessings to others and vice versa. The only thing we need to take from our experience is the positive that it has brought us and spread it to the world.
Tenth Universal Law: Law of Polarity
Polarity is the difference between the two extremes of one thing. For example, love and hate are the same emotion at different ends of one pole. We can choose to change the way we feel about something by changing the degrees of difference we feel towards it. We do that by changing our own attitudes and behavior.
Eleventh Universal Law: Law of Rhythm
This is the only law where we have no control. It will happen. We will all experience cycles of good fortune, and sometimes not so good. The only way to master this law is to walk in the middle. Find the balance. Don't waste it all when things are going great, and don't despair when things are not. Find the middle path and walk along it. Everything shall pass.
Twelfth Universal Law: Law of Gender
The masculine and feminine energy are the foundation for creation in every part of the universe. Yin and Yang. It all works in harmony. This gender balance within ourselves allows our dreams to come to reality.
This is only my brief summary of the 12 Universal Laws. This is an amazing book, and I suggest that anyone wanting to discover more about living a more balanced, love-filled, enriched life, read it. It's a book that teaches at its core our connection to the Universe. We are not humans having spiritual experiences, we are spiritual beings having an amazing human experience. Open your heart and let love flow in and out of it. The light inside all of us shines bright and is just waiting for us to recognize it.
Namaste my friends.
