Dear Santa,
As Christmas Eve quickly approaches, and I'm yet again sick with lots of time to dispose of the creative ideas in my head, I would like you to know that I, instead, have chosen to write you a letter.
I'd like to write in the name of my daughter who is 16 months old and not yet alphabetized. Because I'm the one writing on her behalf, I'll list the things I feel she would like to receive tomorrow:
- thirst for knowledge
- ever-grateful heart to appreciate how lucky she really is
- understanding that her abandonment was the best thing that could have happened to her (and me)
- acceptance of all that she is
- integration of charged emotions that eventually lead to LOVE
- see herself in the eyes of every being she comes across
- courage to follow her dreams
- wisdom to discover her innermost values
- bravery to live congruently to those values
- a life full of lessons, discoveries & inspiration
- desire to serve
... I think that's it for this year
I'll be in touch again next year.
Yours faithfully,
Camile Araujo
